Bottom line on this trend toward centralized computer facilities is ***more equipment + more power consumption = more heat generation.  ***It's important to think about [**server room cooling**](https://www.airpacinc.com/portable-applications/portable-air-conditioning-for-server-room-applications/).  Want to keep your server room cool?  [**The article on How to Keep the Server Room Cool**](http://greenercomputing.com/blog/2010/02/18/how-keep-server-room-cool) has some good ideas.  Let me know what you think.     Not sure how much cooling you need?  [**Download our Clues to BTUS**](https://www.airpacinc.com/Default.aspx?app=LeadgenDownload&shortpath=docs%2fCooling_Load_Calculator-Commercial_Space.pdf) worksheet for your server room.    Tags: [Server Room Cooling](https://www.airpacinc.com/blog/tag/server-room-cooling), [Data Center](https://www.airpacinc.com/blog/tag/data-center) ##### Social Media - [** ](https://www.facebook.com/sharer/sharer.php?u=https://www.airpacinc.com/blog/bid/34406/more-server-room-construction-means-more-server-room-cooling&title=More%20Server%20Room%20Construction%20means%20More%20Server%20Room%20Cooling&picture=&description=Larger%20data%20centers%20call%20for%20more%20cooling.%20%20Recession%20fuels%20building%20boom%20for%20data%20centers.%20%20Get%20server%20room%20cooling%20tips.) - [**](https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?source=https://www.airpacinc.com/blog/bid/34406/more-server-room-construction-means-more-server-room-cooling&text=More%20Server%20Room%20Construction%20means%20More%20Server%20Room%20Cooling%20-%20https://www.airpacinc.com/blog/bid/34406/more-server-room-construction-means-more-server-room-cooling) - [**](http://www.linkedin.com/shareArticle?mini=true&url=https://www.airpacinc.com/blog/bid/34406/more-server-room-construction-means-more-server-room-cooling&title=More%20Server%20Room%20Construction%20means%20More%20Server%20Room%20Cooling&summary=Larger%20data%20centers%20call%20for%20more%20cooling.%20%20Recession%20fuels%20building%20boom%20for%20data%20centers.%20%20Get%20server%20room%20cooling%20tips.) - [**](mailto:?subject=More%20Server%20Room%20Construction%20means%20More%20Server%20Room%20Cooling&body=More%20Server%20Room%20Construction%20means%20More%20Server%20Room%20Cooling%20https://www.airpacinc.com/blog/bid/34406/more-server-room-construction-means-more-server-room-cooling) [Previous](https://www.airpacinc.com/blog/bid/33784/mardi-gras-celebration-and-a-happy-hurricane) [Next](https://www.airpacinc.com/blog/bid/34400/you-need-a-data-center-cooling-plan-and-a-backup-plan) [![footer_logo.png](https://www.airpacinc.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Airpac%20_2018/Images/footer_logo.png?width=186&name=footer_logo.png "footer_logo.png")](https://info.airpacinc.com/homepage) AirPac is your solution for portable, temporary, and emergency heating and cooling for special events, commercial spaces, and industrial processes.
